Christmas 2012

We had a great Christmas Holiday with family and friends.  Jack enjoyed his first Christmas and all of the fun toys that he was given.
Jack getting ready for Nana and Papa's house for Christmas.

We came home from Tyler on Christmas Day.  It rained the whole way home and once we were home, it started snowing.  So, Jack had snow on his first Christmas!  What an awesome treat!

Jack, enjoying his toys:)

His face may not display it here, but he really loves this scooter from Nana and Papa.

This is his new expression lately....it looks like he is saying 'huh'?!

Papa and Jack at breakfast.  It's hard to get a picture of Jack being still....he is NEVER still these days!

Jack with his cousins, Mallory and Kendall.

His new Batman onesie from Mimi and Grandpa.  It really is the cutest little onesie!

Saturday night Lee and I went to see Robert Earl Keen in Ft. Worth.  We had a great time out and enjoyed the concert!  We go to this concert annually and celebrate our 'New Year's Eve'.  Below is Shane (Lee's best friend) and Lee before the concert.

My Dad and his girls, Meredith, Gretchen and myself.

All Jack Wants for Christmas is His Two Front Teeth

Jack's 2 front teeth are coming in right now and at times they are giving him a fit.  We started singing the '2 front teeth for Xmas' song a couple of weeks ago but I'm thinking it is really going to come true:)  I admit, I love seeing those little teeth coming thru the gums.  Jack is becoming such a little person and we are loving every second......

Fun with Jack's New Cars

Jack got these cars as a Christmas gift last weekend (thank you Steven and Sophie) and he LOVES them!  Lee recorded our shenanigans last night:)

More Family Christmas Pictures

Jack was included in our 'team' for the photo scavenger hunt. He had a great time and you can tell thru the pictures!

And, yes, our team won!!

Family Christmas - College Station, TX

This weekend we went to College Station to celebrate Lacey's graduation from A&M and to have our Gwaltney Family Christmas.  Jack met a lot of family for the first time and he did spectacular!  He loved everyone and let everyone hold and love him:)  I'll add more pictures but here are a couple from our trip.

We bought some A&M shirts for the kiddos and there was a chair in the store that was 'just Jack's size'.  I sat him in it and took some pictures.  He loved it......but I just couldn't buy it with the Aggie logo on it, lol!  I'll need to find a Red Raider or Bulldog chair for Jack.

So, this was just one of my favorite times during the weekend.  We were eating breakfast at our hotel Saturday morning and who walks in, Santa!!  I mean dressed to the max, with his own SANTA belt.  I was 'that Mom' and asked Santa if we could take a couple of pictures.  Jack loved him.  The reason I was so happy is because Lee and I were going to take Jack to the mall in College Station that day to get his picture taken with Santa.  But since Santa was staying at our hotel, we didn't even have to wait in line!!  And, the kicker, this Santa was going to the mall because he was the 'Mall Santa'!!

Radio City Christmas Spectacular

Lee and I went to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular the night that we got engaged and it has become a tradition for us.  We went to see the show again last night and it always gets us in the mood for Christmas ( how could it not?).  I love, love, love the Rockettes:)

Now, just to see the show in New York!  One of these days:)

Christmas Lights....add some Music....

This house is down the street from where Lee and I live now.  We actually saw this house on the news before we even saw the lights for ourselves.  I came home late one night and took this video.  I have noticed that more and more people are starting this trend:  Big lights choreographed to music.  Too much time if you ask me:)

Recent Pictures

Some recent pictures of Jack:

His first mohawk.

Just smiling for Mom:)

Taking a ride in his new Tonka Truck his Daddy bought him.

Lily (our dog) thinks it is the most fun game to chase Jack in the Tonka Truck!  In turn, Jack thinks Lily is the funniest game ever:)

Another day, another ride in the Tonka Truck.

These last 3 pictures are from yesterday morning.  We met Nana and Papa at Cracker Barrel and they took Jack home for the weekend.  It was windy outside so we put Jack's hoodie (thanks Aunt Gretchen) on him and I had to get a few pictures.  He was having the best time!

His bottom teeth are really coming in now.  His 2 top teeth should come in any day....we keep singing...All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth:)
