1Year....

Happy Birthday William Jackson! You are the sweet, sweet blessing in our lives! I love your smile, it lights me up, as well as everyone else in the room. Every 'stage' of your first year has been an amazing experience.

Beautiful Day

I took Jack for a long walk yesterday because it was absolutely gorgeous out and we needed some fresh air. While we were out, Jack worked up an appetite....

so we had some corn pops for a snack:)

Not One, But Two Ear Infections

Jack has had a nasty cough, along with a runny nose, chapped cheeks and an overall great attitude:) He is such a trooper. His cough just didn't seem to be getting better and I gave in and called the pediatrician's office on Friday. The nurse told me to bring him in and get his lungs checked for fluid. Turns out his lungs sounded great.....but both ears had fluid in them! Argh! I just took him to get his ears checked out on December 28th because he was fighting a cold then. But his ears looked great. I just never really know with him. He is always such a happy baby that most of the time you don't even know he doesn't feel good.

I took these pictures of Jack and Lee on Friday. They don't need words for how cute they are:)

I set Jack's 'bouncy seat' in front of the window so he can see all that goes on outside. He is so curious these days and loves to check out every little thing. Before he even got to the 'outside' part, the blinds intercepted and he played with those for a while:) What fun...

As much as Jack disliked 'tummy time' when he was a tiny baby, he is on his tummy more and more these days. He is so ready to move on his own and he is sooooo close but it just hasn't happened yet. When it does, we will celebrate:)

Vroom, Vroom

Jack loves his new scooter! He is starting to stand up, using the scooter to hold on to. He also loves to 'dance' to the music the scooter plays:) This is quite humorous and I'll try to get video of it.

How about the adorable overalls Jack is wearing?! Thanks Aunt Mer;-)

We took Jack to the park on Sunday. Most of the equipment is still too big for Jack to play on, except for the slides. He had fun trying out 'sliding' for the first time:)
